These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Walktique (“Walktique”, “we”, “us”), operated by Javid Rzayev (Germany), governing your use of the Walktique app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
Walktique suggests pedestrian walking routes that pass through parks, points of interest, and pleasant streets, and provides maps, route information, optional turn-by-turn guidance, and the ability to save and share routes. Features may change over time.
Walktique is an aid, not a guarantee. Routes, distances, durations, and directions are estimates generated from third-party map data and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsafe in places. You are responsible for your own safety. Always:
Do not rely on the Service in emergencies. Walking is undertaken at your own risk.
You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: breaking the law; interfering with or disrupting the Service or its providers; attempting to access data that isn’t yours; reverse-engineering or scraping beyond normal app use; or violating the terms of underlying providers (including Google Maps Platform).
Walktique is free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or advertising.
Walktique and its branding are owned by us. Map data, places, imagery, and directions are provided by third parties (including Google Maps Platform and OpenStreetMap contributors) and remain the property of their owners and subject to their terms. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial walking.
The Service relies on third parties such as Google Maps Platform, Supabase, and Apple/Google sign-in. We are not responsible for those services, and your use of map content is also subject to the applicable third-party terms.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that routes are accurate, safe, available, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walktique and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service or reliance on any route or information, including personal injury or property damage. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold Walktique harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Walktique operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We will revise the “Effective date” above.
